A Course walking along Kumano Kodo Ohechi route through Aritoshi Shrine and the Direction Post up to Kaizo-ji Temple where the historical items relating Musashi-bo Benkei are housed.
Walking course through Tanabe for an hour (2)
A course beginning from JR Kii-Tanabe railway station, passing by Benkei Statue through Tokei Jinja, a shrine in close connection with Benkei, towards Ogigahama sea-shore where stands the commemorative statue of Ueshiba Morihei, the founder of Aiki-do martial art.

A course visiting Tokei Jinja, a shrine in close connection with Benkei, and the former residence of Minakata Kumagusu, a natural historian, together with Minakata Kumaugusu Archives which lies next to his former residence.
Walking course through Tanabe for an hour (4)
A course departing JR Kii-Tanabe railway station, heading toward Kozanji, a time-honored temple which is believed to have been founded by Kobo-Daishi (Kukai), where you can visit Kozanji Shell-mound (a national historical site) or the graves of Minakata Kumagusu and Ueshiba Morihei.
A two-hour course to pass through the streets of old days.
A Course to follow the locations where the ‘Pictures of Old Days’ were taken, comparing the pictures of Taisho through Showa periods (from 1912 to 1988) with today’s view of the same places, taking about two hours to walk through.
